Diploma in Youth Development is a
programme offered by the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) in
collaboration with the Commonwealth Youth Programme (CYP). This Diploma
intends to empower young people to maximize their human potential and
help in the transformation of youth as partners of development.
- To enable youth workers to gain professional credentials to practice this vocation nationally and internationally.
- To equip practitioners with generic and core competencies, knowledge, values and skills needed for this field.
- To enable youth workers to facilitate the national development process with enlightened youth policy development, implementation and evaluation.
